As a sneakerhead with a penchant for unique designs and a soft spot for collaborations that push boundaries, I am thrilled about the upcoming Notre x Vans collaboration for Fall/Winter 2024! Having been a fan since their first project with Vans back in 2018, it’s always a treat to see what fresh take they will bring to the table. The fact that this time they are working on the Sk8-Hi Reissue and Rowley XLT LX makes me even more excited!
In 2018, Chicago store Notre was chosen by Vans for their “5×5 Project”. This collaboration led to Notre redesigning the Old Skool shoe model, with a unique twist on its Jazz Stripe – two arms joined together by hands. The first release was successful, and in 2020, they partnered again to introduce four new colorways of the Old Skool Lx with the same design at the top. More recently, in 2022, they used the same custom stripe on three OG Style 36 LX shoes with drink-themed colors.
Once more, Notre Dame and Vans are set to collaborate, unveiling designs for the Sk8-Hi Reissue and Rowley XLT LX this coming Fall/Winter 2024. The Sk8-Hi Reissue will be available in two distinct color schemes: off-white and gray. Each design showcases the iconic hand stripe embroidered along the lateral side; olive hues are incorporated into the off-white version, while cream is preferred for the gray iteration. In terms of the Rowley XLT LX, it too boasts an off-white upper, with its unique co-designed stripe integrated and given a distressed appearance to complete its design.
Keep an eye out for the upcoming collaboration between Notre and Vans, hitting stores on November 15 exclusively through Notre. The Sk8-Hi Reissue will be available in two colorways, each priced at $130 USD, while the Rowley XLT LX will start retailing at $165 USD.
