2023 NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown has formally teamed up with eyewear brand Oakley for his initial brand partnership. This association spans over multiple years and centers around creating a fresh design concept within the Oakley universe. Together with their development, innovation, and research teams, Brown will help launch exclusive items in collaboration with his recently established sportswear line, 741, which is linked to the Boston Celtics player’s jersey number.
In this NBA season, Brown is not only representing the brand as an ambassador for eyewear, but he’s also been sporting some classic Oakley styles from the early 2000s, such as the Over The Top and Polaris, during his pre-game walks through the tunnel.
For the first time in my professional journey, I’ve entered into a brand collaboration. This is significant because I choose to associate with brands that share my beliefs and aspirations across various dimensions – individuality, aesthetics, and harmony. Speaking about Oakley, their innovative spirit and commitment towards progressing sports, culture, and inspiring the younger generation make this partnership not just a strategic move, but a profound and meaningful one.
In his new role, Brown will be part of the esteemed Team Oakley, which includes athletes like Patrick Mahomes, Paolo Banchero, Diamond DeShields, Justin Jefferson and others. Beyond sports, Oakley has been actively collaborating with brands such as Palace, Bodega, and Podpah Podcast.
