Oakley Factory Team Introduces All-New Edge Boot in Second FW24 Drop

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for fashion that mirrors my adventurous spirit, I must say that the Oakley Factory Team‘s FW24 drop has truly caught my eye (or should I say feet). The all-new Edge Boot and revamped Chop Saw, Jacquard Flesh Sandal, and Orbital Suede Flesh Mule, are a testament to the brand’s ability to blend functionality with style.

The second release from Oakley Factory Team’s FW24 collection showcases a novel mid-profile shoe known as the Edge Boot, along with refreshed versions of popular styles such as the Jacquard Chop Saw, Jacquard Flesh Sandal, and Orbital Suede Flesh Mule. This latest offering from the Brain Dead-inspired Oakley line is characterized by muted green and earthy brown shades, which echo the colors present in the dreamlike crystalline landscape depicted in the campaign artwork by Nina Muro.

In a fresh, sunny yellow suede, the Suede Edge Boot distinguishes itself from other models with its lighter hues. Bright red laces and red contrast stitching accentuating the suede overlays provide an additional burst of warmth. The collar and behind the tongue feature a faded sage mesh, while the heel and tongue tabs are made of a more vibrant green shade.

As a gamer, I’d say: “The latest design has got this unique midsole inspired by the Chop Saw shape, complete with a Jacquard upper that gives it a tactile, yellow and green textured look. The heel tabs are terracotta-hued, while the laces are cool blue, but the rest of the shoe leans towards a muted greyscale palette. On another note, the Jacquard Flesh Sandal comes with a more intricate mesh upper in shades of green, grey, and black, creating a wavy camouflage effect. The toe box, collar, and chunky midsoles are all sleek black, except for pops of green from the outsoles.

Lastly, a fresh Orbital Suede Flesh Mule incorporates gel cushions within its sage green upper, showcased through elliptical and irregular cutouts. The black mesh collar and midsole contrast with vibrant green heel tabs and mid-tone grey outsole highlights.

You can now find the second release of the Oakley Factory Team FW24 in both Oakley’s and Brain Dead’s online stores, as well as at some official retailers.
