In 2023, when Nike unveiled the SNKRS Showcase series, one sneaker that caught everyone’s attention among the numerous releases was the ACG Rufus. Originally released in 2001, it made a comeback in 2024, available in multiple styles. Nike showcased this revived model in its third and latest SNKRS Showcase event, featuring two distinct designs – one in “Bold Berry” colorway, officially unveiled in January, and now, a new “Armory Blue” version.
Preparing for its store release towards the end of this month, Nike has unveiled the authentic images of the ACG Rufus in “Armory Blue”. The shoes have an upper resembling denim in a soft light blue shade, with a tiny gold Swoosh subtly placed at the lateral midfoot. The sole unit designed for outdoor use sports a beige color with brown specks dispersed across the bottom.
As I type this, Nike hasn’t disclosed the release date for the “Armory Blue” version of the ACG Rufus. Keep an eye out for news as it is anticipated to become available starting March 31, both on Nike SNKRS and at selected stores, priced at $110 USD.
