Official Images of the Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic”

As a long-time sneakerhead and avid collector, I’m thrilled to hear that the iconic Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic” is making a comeback next summer. This shoe holds a special place in my heart, reminding me of my childhood when I used to watch Scottie Pippen dominate the basketball court during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

As a long-time sneaker enthusiast and collector, I’m always on the lookout for the latest and greatest releases from my favorite brands. Nike has always been at the forefront of innovative design and technology, and the Air More Uptempo “Olympic” is no exception.

New Information: The iconic Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic” is slated to make a comeback in 2024, following the announcement at the end of last year. In preparation for this year’s Olympic Games in Paris, Nike has unveiled the shoe’s official visuals. The design remains consistent with its original 1996 look, featuring white accents on a blue foundation. The release date is scheduled for August 11, and it will be available on Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced starting at $170 USD.

Next summer, I’m excited to see the return of the Nike Air More Uptempo in the “Olympic” colorway! This iconic basketball sneaker is a tribute to the 2024 Olympic Games, which will take place in Paris from July 26 to August 11. The patriotic design perfectly captures the spirit of the summer games.

A legendary basketball shoe, famously donned by Scottie Pippen during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and now making a comeback, boasts an eye-catching color scheme of white, midnight navy, metallic gold, and university red. The patriotic design is accentuated with distinct “AIR” lettering in white on its navy nubuck upper, while the midsole showcases the same white and blue hues, revealing the Air sole units beneath. The heel tab proudly displays Pippen’s Olympic jersey number 8, outlined in gold, sitting above the iconic Swoosh emblem in navy.

Keep an eye peeled for the Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic” version, which is set to hit select stores and Nike’s website in August 2024, priced at $170 USD.
