As a long-time admirer of the vibrant and audacious world of art, I can’t help but feel invigorated by the ceaseless rise of the British-Nigerian sensation, Olaolu Slawn. His unapologetic approach to creativity is not only refreshing but also a testament to his fearless spirit.
British-Nigerian artist and designer Olaolu Slawn is broadening his work by collaborating with Supreme soon. After his unique partnership with rapper Big Zuu and Corteiz to dominate London’s Piccadilly Circus with CIRCA, and unveiling the “Ugly Bastard” sculpture in collaboration with Avant Arte, the Motherlan co-founder has shared sneak peeks on X and Instagram Story of his upcoming design for the famous Box Logo t-shirt.
The artist recently showcased a photo of the Black Supreme Box Logo Tee, adorned with his vibrant graphic design, on his Instagram Story. Renowned for his massive pop art paintings, graffiti, caricatures, and murals, this young British talent’s work is prominently displayed on these t-shirts. So far, three colors – white, black, and grey – have been unveiled. Rapper Central Cee was spotted wearing the grey version, while the artist himself shared a picture of the white one on Instagram.
Just recently, Slawn posted a custom Rolex Datejust watch that garnered attention from both celebrities and fans alike. It is unclear at the time of writing when his collaborative t-shirts will release and if he will be working on other pieces. Stay tuned for more information.
Sometimes you just gotta say fuck it and do what you want.
