As a longtime fan with over a decade of adventuring under my belt in the world of Gielinor, I can’t help but feel like a kid on Christmas morning as Old School RuneScape reveals its latest treasure trove at the Summer Summit 2024! The Varlamore trilogy reaching its climax, community servers opening up, and Leagues mode getting an upgrade – it’s a fantasy lover’s dream come true.

Fresh from the success of their latest album release (you read that right), the team behind Old School RuneScape, an MMORPG reminiscent of the past from Jagex, has revealed a slew of fresh features at their 2024 Summer Summit. This update encompasses the resolution of the Varlamore trilogy, community-run servers and a completely new Leagues mode.

Initially, the game “Varlamore: The Rising Darkness” is scheduled to release on September 25th, and it will carry forward the existing narrative into its next difficult phase, introducing new bosses such as the serpentine Hueycoatl. Moreover, it has been confirmed that the Varlamore series will culminate with the upcoming “Varlamore: The Final Dawn” installment, which is set to arrive soon.

As a gamer, I’m pumped about the return of Ice and Giant bosses in Old School RuneScape! Plus, Project Zanaris is coming up, expanding the world of community servers for more players like me to join. Lastly, Leagues V: Raging Echoes is on the horizon, with a new adversary, Wrathmaw, set to challenge our skills and test our mettle!
