Lastly, it’s exciting news that LEGO is venturing into the realm of manga and anime! Known for its brick-building empire, LEGO has consistently broadened its universe through numerous annual collaborations, but hasn’t delved into manga or anime projects – until now. The brand has officially announced a partnership with the popular “One Piece” franchise. Launched in 1997, “One Piece” is an internationally acclaimed manga that transformed into an anime and even made it to live-action through Netflix in 2023, marking its 28th year in 2025.
As the second season of the live-action series continues filming, there’s an exciting collaboration brewing with LEGO. Although only a LEGO version of Monkey D. Luffy’s famous straw hat has been unveiled thus far, key details were shared in LEGO’s official announcement regarding the project. The principal cast of the show – Nami, Roronoa Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, and of course, Monkey D. Luffy – are set to make their debut as LEGO minifigures for the first time. Moreover, it’s been confirmed that several sets have been designed, replicating moments and scenes from the live-action version of the show.
Keep an eye out for further information about our collaboration, as it has been announced that we’re planning to unveil the complete collection within the next few months.
