As a gamer with a penchant for mystery shows, I must say that the upcoming season of “Only Murders in the Building” has me absolutely thrilled! The bicoastal adventure and the star-studded cast promise an exhilarating experience that’s hard to resist.
The popular Hulu series Only Murders in the Building is expanding to both coasts. On Tuesday, they revealed a new trailer for its fourth season, hinting at an exciting cross-country journey for characters Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez).
Season three concluded with the characters reeling from the demise of Charles’ friend and ex-stuntman, Sazz (played by Jane Lynch). In the sneak peek for season four, the team finds themselves juggling a fresh investigation while embarking on a glitzy journey to Hollywood, as a film company initiates production on a movie based on their podcast.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the fourth season of “Only Murders” has been labeled as its “shiniest” yet by Hulu! This time around, we’ve got an impressive lineup of guest stars joining our favorite cast. Stars like Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Molly Shannon, Richard Kind, Kumail Nanjiani, and the hilarious Melissa McCarthy are set to grace our screens!
In June, it was announced that Longoria, Levy, and Galifianakis would portray themselves as actors chosen to play the podcast team members on screen. However, the latest trailer from Tuesday gives us a sneak peek into the strife between the leading trio and their onscreen equivalents. Additionally, the clip hinted at Shannon’s character being a powerful Hollywood executive overseeing the podcast’s film version, while McCarthy’s role is revealed to be Charles’ sister living in Long Island.
Additionally, the trailer showcases some of our beloved actors who are reprising their roles, including Lynch, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Michael Cyril Creighton, and Meryl Streep.
The fourth season of “Only Murders in the Building” will be available for streaming on Hulu starting August 27, and fresh episodes will drop weekly on Tuesdays.
