As a seasoned gamer with a knack for fashion and a love for all things vintage, I can’t help but be captivated by the OTW Old Skool 36 Pearlized collection. Having grown up skating through the streets of ’77 myself (in my gaming world, at least), these shoes bring back memories of those iconic days and the classic Vans that adorned our feet.
As a die-hard sneaker enthusiast, I’m super excited about the upcoming release of my favorite brand’s shoe – the OTW Old Skool 36 Pearlized! This beauty will be available in the classic colorway of “Marshmallow” and “Black”. The SKU is yet to be announced, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for it. It’s set to hit the shelves on September 6, 2024, and the best part? It’ll only cost $130 USD! Can’t wait to add this stylish pair to my collection. If you’re also a fan, mark your calendars and get ready to grab them from Vans when they drop!
The On The Way (OTW) line by Vans is about to introduce the Pearlized version of their Old Skool 36 collection, offering a fresh take on the classic Style 36 shoe, which was Vans’ second skate shoe, launched in 1977 and later recognized as the Old Skool model.
The OTW Old Skool 36 Pearlized boasts a worn-in, oiled suede exterior embellished with pearls and crystals. This design embodies the character of a cherished shoe that has been individually customized and repaired throughout its travels, symbolizing a voyage through diverse locations. Notable aspects of this collection include a more polished sidewall and exquisite stitching accents.
Following the ethos of the Vans Premium line, this latest range focuses on contemporary comfort, top-quality fabrics, and a refreshed design. The footwear retains the timeless Old Skool shape but incorporates the famous Sidestripe – a feature that originated from the Style 36 model in its earliest days.
Starting from September 6, the OTW Old Skool 36 Pearlized shoes will come in Marshmallow and Black options. You can buy them either through Vans’ official website or at selected retailers for $130 USD.
