As a seasoned gamer and fashion enthusiast, I’ve had the pleasure of following Our Legacy’s evolution over the years, and their latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection, “FEAST,” has truly piqued my interest. The Swedish brand’s commitment to quality and design is evident in every piece, especially the Mini Jacket in top-dyed black leather.
Jockum Hallin, Christopher Nying, and Richardos Klarén, the founders of the Swedish fashion label Our Legacy, have introduced their Fall/Winter 2024 collection, named “FEAST.” The campaign for this collection was captured by Ian Kenneth Bird and styled by Leung Pak Ting, a Hong Kong artist. This presentation showcases a carefully chosen assortment of minimalist items that reflect Our Legacy’s distinctive style.
The Mini Jacket in black leather, dyed using vegetable-tanning techniques from Italy, is the star of Our Legacy’s collection. This jacket demonstrates Our Legacy’s dedication to both quality and design. With its boxy shape, RiRi zipper that zips two ways, and inner lining made of cotton and viscose, this versatile and luxurious piece is a must-have. The minimalist design allows it to seamlessly move between casual and more formal occasions.
Some noteworthy pieces include the Coco Shirt in a soft off-white air cotton, adorned with mother-of-pearl buttons and a slightly roomier fit. The Full Zip Hood, available in black hairy wool, provides a comfortable and relaxed fit, along with its soft texture. Lastly, the Whale Coat, also made of black hairy wool, completes the collection with its double-breasted design and distinctive horn buttons that will naturally age and acquire a unique patina over usage.
The collection delves into the topic of “young people’s corruption in an affluent society,” showcasing mainly pieces with a somber color palette that convey both defiance and polish. Our Legacy’s FW24 design ethos merges minimalist silhouettes, opulent textiles, and understated embellishments to exude an aura of easy elegance.
