Tips for playing Torbjorn
Although Torbjorn primarily focuses on dealing damage, he excels most when protecting and securing objectives. When employing the Rivet Gun, remember to adjust your aim to compensate for bullet drop to ensure accurate shots.
Instead of setting up turrets right in front of the enemy team, position them strategically at unpredictable spots. For instance, there’s a store on the left side of King’s Row’s main street that could surprise opponents approaching from the primary route.
It would be strategic to position Torbjorn’s turret in challenging locations, preferably ones that are raised high, to create a difficult target.
By strategically placing yourself in advantageous positions, you can effectively thwart enemy advances, wear them down, and give your team an opportunity to capitalize on their weaknesses. Additionally, you can continually harass opponents, keeping them under constant pressure. This tactic also forces the enemies to decide whether to focus on destroying your turret or continuing their offensive, creating a challenging situation for them.
When engaging with enemies in the Molten Core, it’s best to keep this powerful ability for moments when they are closely grouped together. Upon activation, try to cover the largest area with magma, hoping to eliminate all five opponents from the other team simultaneously.
Additionally, consider employing the Overload skill for added damage and to guarantee a few kills while using your ultimate ability.
