Owen Wilson, Ty Dolla $ign, Sexyy Red and More to Star in New ‘Rolling Loud’ Film

Although many recognize Rolling Loud as a major global hip-hop festival, it’s also gearing up to serve as the creative catalyst for an upcoming hip-hop themed comedy.

Under the title Rolling Loud, an upcoming R-rated comedy is gearing up with Owen Wilson, Ty Dolla $ign, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, comedian Matt Rife, Henry Winkler and others in leading roles. Named after the real-life hip-hop festival, this film will be loosely based on a true story about an overprotective father, portrayed by Wilson, who yearns to appear as the cool dad. In his quest, he sneaks his 13-year-old son into the music festival, sparking a series of unpredictable events involving Rife’s character, a reckless co-worker, and Christine Ko’s eccentric festival volunteer. Throughout the movie, Wilson and his son will face challenges like security, rowdy crowds, and family dynamics while navigating through the production process in Atlanta.

As a passionate fan, I’m excited to share that the upcoming film is the brainchild of Jeremy Garelick, an American High CEO renowned for his work on Adam Sandler’s “Murder Mystery 2.” Joining him in the producer’s chair are Ryan Kroft and Michael Rapino from Live Nation Productions, Pasquale Rotella of Insomniac, and Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif from Rolling Loud. Additionally, Rife and Christina Shams are also executive producers. To top it off, the dynamic duo of Sexy Redd and Ski Mask the Slump God will be gracing the stage at Rolling Loud California this coming March!
