As a long-time enthusiast of streetwear and sneaker culture, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Packer x adidas Intimidation Low collaboration! With over a decade of successful partnerships under their belt, these two powerhouses continue to push boundaries and bring innovation to the footwear scene.
For more than ten years, Packer and adidas have been steadfast in their mission to infuse novel vigor into the world of footwear. Last year alone, they achieved this by introducing the innovative Crazy IIInfinity and by teaming up for a project that saw the reemergence of the FYW Intimidation. Now marking its 25th anniversary, this design will also see the return of its low-top iteration.
According to Packer brand director Victor Kan, two versions of the Packer x adidas Intimidation Low are anticipated to release this year. These models feature a streamlined design, as the traditional raised collar has been replaced with a slimmer profile for a more modern aesthetic. The upper’s undulating structure, reminiscent of the KB8 3 and later used in the YEEZY 500, is maintained on both sides of the shoe along with its sole unit shape. Colorwise, one pair will feature gradients that transition from gray to blue, while another will showcase lighter to darker shades of gray across the upper.
Currently, neither Packer nor adidas has disclosed any particulars about the campaign’s launch. But, it’s been mentioned that the project is scheduled for Fall/Winter 2024. Keep an eye out for further announcements as we anticipate both sets of shoes to be released by the end of this year through Packer.
