As reported by Variety from the UK, where the movie was released on November 8, it’s unfortunate that U.S. audiences will have to wait until January 17 to see it. This is because film release dates are set far in advance. In the upcoming film “Paddington in Peru”, Michael Gambon makes a brief appearance as Buchanan, who is still imprisoned and discusses with a group of visiting bears (relatives of Paddington) the idea of staging a jailhouse production of “Goldilocks” within the prison.
Isn’t it delightful to know that Grant not only showed a great interest in the project but went as far as writing most of the script for the sketch on his own?
Certainly, it’s not entirely shocking considering Grant’s obvious affection for the movie. In a chat with Letterboxd, Grant shared his deep-rooted love for the film and its surprising success in captivating audiences. “I may never cherish another film as much as I adore Paddington 2,” he mentioned in the interview. “It’s simply masterfully crafted — and it’s incredibly gratifying — particularly because it was so unanticipated.
