As a dedicated fan who’s been following Palace since their early days, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement when they announce a new collaboration. This time, it’s with the legendary The Great Frog – a match made in punk heaven! Growing up in London, I’ve always admired the rebellious spirit that both brands embody, and this collaboration is a testament to that.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that London-based brand Palace is embracing the holiday spirit with a salute to punk defiance! To usher in the crisp days ahead, Palace has already unveiled its complete Holiday 2024 lookbook. This stunning collection showcases an apparel and 925 sterling silver jewelry collaboration with renowned jeweler The Great Frog. This groundbreaking alliance marks the beginning of our Holiday 2024 offerings, presenting a vibrant selection of apparel and 925 sterling silver jewelry that brings gothic subversive symbols to the forefront.
This collection showcases the symbolic motifs of a spider and dragonfly on black hoodies and track pants, while leather jackets and some hoodies bear skull and dagger symbols alongside gothic crosses. The TGF script is found on knit beanies, hats, and skateboards too. Additionally, the apparel line is accompanied by a jewelry collection that combines Palace’s signature triangle logo with gothic symbols. Drawing from a 50-year archive, Palace introduces the Four Skulls Crucifix Ring inspired by ornate crypts, engraved with their logo in a gothic font and the Skull Tri-Ferg Ring. The collection also includes a spider pendant featuring the brand’s “P” symbol and a ring bearing the Palace logo in gothic lettering – all crafted from 925 sterling silver.
In a harmonious fusion, Palace and The Great Frog unite, bound by their mutual London-inspired disregard for convention and impact. TGF’s creative designer, Reino Lehtonen Riley, expressed that this collaboration was sparked by the diverse cultural blend of London, which has subtly instilled the rebellious spirit of both Palace and The Great Frog over time. With shared memories of growing up in London, Reino, Lev, and Gareth have crafted a collection that embodies self-expression, a testament to the skating community’s essence.
The new Palace collection will debut first in the UK, EU on November 29 at noon Central European Time (CET) through Palace and DSM. In the US, it will become available at 11am Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), with stores in LA and DSM LA releasing their drops at 11am Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). The release in Japan and South Korea is set for November 30 at 11am Japan Standard Time (JST), while the WeChat drop in China will take place an hour later at 11am China Standard Time (CST) on the same day.
