As a seasoned fashion enthusiast with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the upcoming Berghaus x Palace collaboration is truly a sight to behold. Having followed both brands closely, I can confidently state that this is a match made in sartorial heaven.
The Palace skate brand has kicked off its fall 2024 collection, with their initial drop happening last week and a second one on the horizon. Excitingly, they’ve just revealed their first collaboration of the season – partnering with UK-based brand Berghaus!
For the first time, Palace and Berghaus have teamed up to introduce a collection inspired by the ’90s. The lead piece is Berghaus’ Tempest jacket available in vibrant shades of “Acid Yellow,” “Cobalt Blue,” and classic “Black.” The collaboration is evident across the outerwear line, extending to two-tone fleece zip-ups showcasing combinations of “Grey/Purple,” “Petrol/Purple,” and “Black.” Additionally, a graphic tee in three colors has been designed, accompanied by two ear warmer caps to round off the fashionable yet cozy assortment.
Over the Berghaus-made mountain line, Palace plans to unveil a variety of primary designs too. Notable items include windbreakers with full zippers and coordinating hats and pants, branded hoodies and flannel shirts. Mesh jerseys appear as basic tees, while long-sleeved tops serve as essential seasonal pieces. To complete the collection, Palace collaborated with New Era on three understated “P” caps.
The collaboration between Berghaus and Palace will be launched, which aligns with the second release from Palace. In the UK and EU, it becomes available first on August 16 at 12pm CET via Palace and DSM. In the US, it follows suit at 11am EDT later that day, with the LA store and DSM LA releasing their drops at 11am PDT. The release in Japan and South Korea is scheduled for August 17 at 11am JST, while China’s drop via WeChat happens an hour later at 11am CST on the same day.
