Panerai Readies a Quartet of Navy SEALs Submersible Watches

As a seasoned gamer of life, who’s navigated countless virtual landscapes and faced numerous digital adversaries, I find myself drawn to the real-world adventures represented by Panerai’s new Navy SEALs Submersible collection. With my heart pounding like the ticking of a timepiece, I can almost feel the adrenaline coursing through me as I dive into the depths with these watches strapped to my wrist.

After launching the latest Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa from Panerai, the watchmaker is extending its Submersible collection further by introducing a fresh capsule series that celebrates Navy SEALs.

The lineup encompasses a total of four models: The Submersible QuarantaQuattro Navy SEALs PAM01518, the Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotechâ„¢ PAM01513, the Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01669, and the Submersible Chrono Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01521.

As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “Both PAM01518 and PAM01513 are rocking 44mm cases, but here’s where they differ. The PAM01518 is built tough with a brushed AISI stainless steel frame that can handle pressure up to 30 ATM underwater. On the other hand, PAM01513 takes it up a notch with an impressive 50 ATM water resistance, wrapped in Carbotechâ„¢ case and bezel for added durability. Oh, and let’s not forget about the GMT function on PAM01513, which is perfect for keeping track of time across different time zones.

Regarding the models PAM01669 and PAM01521, they each possess a substantial case width of 47mm. The initial model comes with a brushed titanium casing combined with a Carbotechâ„¢ bezel, offering resistance to 30 ATM underwater conditions. In contrast, the PAM01521 boasts a water resistance of 50 ATM, featuring a titanium DLC case and matching bezel. This model is equipped with an assortment of technical functions including a flyback chronograph, time to target calculation, immersion time measurement, stop-seconds, seconds reset for precise time adjustment, and the essential hour, minute, and central second indicators.

Each model’s design is influenced by the elite special force, showcasing rubber and textile straps in a camouflage pattern reminiscent of deserts. To underscore their connection to the Navy SEALs, each watch caseback bears the authentic “SEAL Trident” insignia. The watches come with dials that transition from black to anthracite, and despite having different mechanical movements, all offer up to three days of power reserve.

The cost of the Navy SEALs capsule by Panerai varies from $10,200 to $34,200 USD. You can purchase these exclusive or limited-edition items at their boutiques, or visit their official website for more information.
