Peak Performance Brings Back its Color-Blocked Jackets Made From Leftover Fabric

As a seasoned gamer and mountaineer with years of trekking through virtual and real-world terrains under my belt, I can’t help but appreciate the latest offering from Peak Performance – the Helium Utility FLO capsule collection. My backpack is always filled with gear, and I’ve learned that quality, durability, and sustainability are non-negotiables for me.

The renowned Scandinavian climbing gear brand, Peak Performance, has returned with a new release from their popular ‘Fabric Leftovers’ (FLO) program, which they initiated approximately a year ago. This innovative project aims to recycle excess fabric from their production process.

The special, one-time release ‘Helium Utility FLO’ capsule includes four distinctive jackets designed with leftover materials to produce eye-catching, multi-colored combinations. These jackets are filled with 700 fill power down insulation, ensuring excellent warmth, utilizing RDS-certified down for a remarkable balance of warmth and lightness. Each jacket is treated with a PFC-free water-resistant spray that offers some protection against wet weather without being completely waterproof. Additionally, these jackets are highly compact when packed, making them perfect for storage in limited spaces.

The FLO program has been well-received for enhancing Peak Performance, and the company intends to broaden it across various product lines soon. Yet, it’s not the sole factor contributing to the brand’s pursuit of sustainability and objectives – its pre-owned program, WearAgains, has recently been extended to selected stores and online platforms in Europe.

Today, you can find the Helium Utility FLO capsule collection in chosen Peak Performance retail outlets and also on their official site. The price for this collection is set at approximately £320 GBP or $450 CAD.
