As an ardent fan of Taapsee Pannu and her electrifying performances, I eagerly awaited the star-studded screening of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The anticipation was palpable as I envisioned the thrilling ride that was about to unfold on the silver screen.
Taapsee Pannu returns with the follow-up to the 2021 romantic thriller film, Haseen Dillruba. Directed by Jayprad Desai, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is scheduled for release on August 9, 2024. Prior to its theater debut, a glamorous premiere event was held in Mumbai for the film’s cast and crew.
At the event, Taapsee Pannu turned heads wearing a long black gown with a striking accent – a red cloth adorned with a large red rose. For this special occasion, she opted for a dewy makeup look, complete with kohl-lined eyes and nude lips, and styled her hair in an elegant high ponytail.
She was accompanied by her fellow actor Vikrant Massey, along with Sunny Kaushal. While the actor from “12th Fail” opted for a beige suit paired with a white shirt and a brown striped tie, the actor from “Shiddat” looked sharp in an all-black ensemble. Aditi Pannu will resume her character as Rani Saxena, whereas Vikrant Massey takes on the role of Rishabh Saxena. Sunny Kaushal, conversely, is cast as Abhimanyu in this production.

Vicky Kaushal made an appearance at the Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba event to stand by his brother Sunny. The star of Masaan opted for a casual look at the premiere, sporting a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers. During the event, Vicky and Sunny were photographed together with their parents, Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal.

Later on, Aparshakti Khurana, a popular actor recognized for films such as Stree, Luka Chuppi, Pati Patni Aur Woh among others, made an appearance. He is the brother of renowned artist Ayushmann Khurrana. At the event, he wore a stylish ensemble consisting of blue pants, a matching shirt layered over a white t-shirt, and complementary sneakers. With a radiant smile, he struck a pose for the photographers.
In a departure from his on-screen persona as a humble villager, Abhishek Banerjee, his Stree co-star, presented a chic appearance, donning a black shirt, brown wide-legged trousers, vibrant sunglasses, and matching shoes, when they met.

Jimmy Sheirgill, portraying Mrityunjay Prasad in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, was present at the screening as well. Additionally, Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa, actors Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey (who are a couple), Sharad Kelkar, comedian Sumona Chakravarti, and others attended this exclusive premiere event.
The upcoming Netflix series “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba” is scheduled to debut on August 9 (Friday), approximately at midday. Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu is involved in another movie called “Khel Khel Mein.” This film, directed by Mudassar Aziz and co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal. “Khel Khel Mein” is slated for release in theaters on August 15, 2024.
