As a dedicated follower of Taapsee Pannu’s journey, I must say her latest adventure in Paris has been nothing short of inspiring. Watching her balancing her acting career with supporting her husband Mathias Boe at the Olympics, coaching Indian athletes, and exploring the city like a true tourist is truly commendable.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but sing praises about Taapsee Pannu and her enchanting saree collection that’s been stealing the spotlight in the heart of Paris. This year, the actress walked down the aisle with Mathias Boe, a Danish badminton star, and since then, she’s been cheering him on at the ongoing 2024 Paris Olympics. Interestingly, Taapsee has been dedicating her time to train and mentor two Indian badminton champions, Chirag Shetty and Satwik Sairajrankireddy, a testament to her unwavering passion for the sport.
Ever since Taapsee Pannu’s recent visit to Paris, she has been immersing herself in typical tourist activities such as watching street performances, dining at local eateries, and exploring popular tourist sites. She even shared a series of photos from her adventures around the city on her social media not too long ago.
“She posted the pictures with the comment, ‘Today was a mix of typical tourism and unexpected athletic competition. It was exhilarating to witness the top athletes’ speed and power live. Simply a classic day in every way! #RaniInParis.'”

Accompanying her on this journey were her husband, Mathias Boe – a former Olympic medalist and world champion – as well as her sister Shagun Pannu. To share the news, Boe posted a selfie with the two remarkable ladies on his Instagram stories, humorously referring to them as ‘tourists’.
Following their elimination from the Olympics on August 3, Boe announced his retirement. In a heartfelt message, he posted an image with Chirag Shetty and Satwik Sairajrankireddy and wrote: “I understand your pain because I’ve felt it too. Striving tirelessly each day to be at the peak of fitness, only for things not to turn out as planned. I see your disappointment; I know how much you yearned to win a medal for India, but this time fate had other plans.”
Mathias, in his retirement announcement as a coach, expressed, “My coaching journey concludes here, I won’t be coaching in India or anywhere else, at least not for the moment. I’ve invested an extensive amount of time in badminton courts and being a coach can be quite taxing, making me feel like an exhausted old man.”
Next up for Taapsee Pannu at work is the follow-up to last year’s film “Haseen Dillruba”, called “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba”.
