As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for celebrity lives, I must say that Janhvi Kapoor’s heartfelt tribute to her late mother, Sridevi, on her 61st birth anniversary is truly touching and poignant. Her spiritual journey, particularly her frequent visits to Tirupati Balaji temple, speaks volumes about her deep-rooted connection with her mother and her faith.

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor expressed a heartfelt tribute on social media in honor of her mother Sridevi, who would have been 61 years old. Following similar posts by Boney Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, commemorating the late actress, Janhvi shared a thoughtful message on this special day.

13th August saw Janhvi Kapoor sharing a heartfelt tribute to her late mother, Sridevi, through her Instagram account. She started with a captivating image from the steps of the Tirumala Tirupati Temple, then shared a precious childhood photograph with her mother, and finally posted an endearing picture taken at the same temple in Andhra Pradesh.

In the latest photo, Janhvi is spotted donning a vibrant yellow-green traditional silk saree, complete with a floral blouse. She added a kamarbandh and enhanced her ensemble with earrings and a necklace that coordinated perfectly. Her hair was styled in a bun with a central parting. The caption of the post reads, “Happy birthday Mom (with a heart emoji), I love you.”

Immediately following the post’s circulation, Ananya Panday responded with a heart emoji in the comments. Simultaneously, one admirer expressed, “You make your mom proud, girl… You are so down-to-earth and an amazing spirit. May good fortune be upon you,” while another complimented, “A true reflection of your beautiful mother.” A third comment read, “Happy spiritual birthday to the beautiful Ms Hawaii Hawa.”

In addition to this, several fans dropped red-heart and heart-eye emojis in the comments section.

To highlight, Khushi Kapoor shared a sweet childhood photo including herself, her mother, and her sister. In this unguarded snapshot, The Archies actress is seen sporting a short pixie cut, while Janhvi brought her unique charm and playful energy by posing adorably and making funny faces during the photograph’s capture.

Apart from this, Boney Kapoor, a caring husband and seasoned movie director, also posted a picture of his wife on social media. The image appears to be from her 2012 comedy-drama film, English Vinglish. Accompanying the photo of his beloved wife, he wrote, “Happy birthday, my Jaan.” (This version conveys the same meaning but uses more casual and conversational language.)

As a devoted follower of Hinduism, I find it truly heartwarming to learn about Janhvi Kapoor’s spiritual journey and her deep connection with Tirupati Balaji temple. Having visited the sacred place myself, I can attest to its powerful energy and serene atmosphere. It is a remarkable testament to Janhvi’s respect for her heritage that she has made multiple visits this year, especially on significant occasions like her mother Sridevi’s birth anniversary. Her dedication to upholding the traditions of her family and faith serves as an inspiration to many, including myself. I look forward to witnessing her continued spiritual growth and the meaningful ways in which she honors her loved ones through these sacred practices.

She mentioned, “Whenever I sense a deep inner urge, it’s like a call that directs me towards Tirupati, where I feel compelled to climb the stairs and witness the divine presence of the deity. This year alone, I have visited Tirupati three times, and I plan to go there again, on my mother’s birthday.”

In terms of her professional life, Janhvi first starred in back-to-back films titled “Mr and Mrs Mahi,” and then went on to appear in Sudhanshu Saria’s production called “Ulajh.”

In her eagerly anticipated debut film for the South, titled Devara: Part 1, she will make her next appearance. This movie is directed by Kortala Siva and features Jr NTR as her co-star, along with Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko in significant roles. The posters and the chemistry between the main actors in the already-released songs have piqued audience interest. The film is set to premiere in cinemas on September 27.

Apart from her current project, it’s also been announced that Janhvi will work alongside Varun Dhawan once more for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. This film, helmed by Shashank Khaitan, is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2025.
