Piet and Oakley's New Collection Pays Tribute to Brazilian Party Culture

As a child of the ’90s rave scene, I can’t help but feel a surge of nostalgia when I see Piet and Oakley’s third collaboration. Growing up, I was always drawn to the vibrant energy and bold style that defined those wild dance parties under the stars. To see this fusion of street culture and cutting-edge design come to life in such a stunning collection is nothing short of electrifying!

In a fresh and conversational style: Brazilian label Piet has teamed up once more with Oakley for their third joint project, celebrating Piet’s electrifying urban lifestyle through vivid eyewear designs. Pedro Andrade, the creative head at Piet, draws inspiration from Brazil’s lively party scene, donning his best outfit to a favorite rave while ensuring he makes an unforgettable impression with his stylish ensemble.

Piet and Oakley’s latest assortment showcases a diverse selection of vibrant basics, including round sunglasses, jeans, and patterned tees. To highlight their collection, the brand ventures into the great outdoors, immersing themselves in the area’s lively youth scene under clear, sunny skies.

The Eye Jacket and Radar sunglasses come in gradient shades of green and red, with metallic Oakley logos and dark lenses. The denim line is saturated in washed black, introducing cropped trucker jackets and practical bottoms adorned with distressed details. Moreover, the collection also brings back Oakley’s Mad Science division, showcasing printed tops displaying blurred rave scenes captured at outdoor events. Lastly, the collection includes the Oakley Teeth Sneakers, featuring a classic brown leather design for everyday wear on the slip-on model.

Have a good look at the latest project by Piet and Oakley displayed up there. It’s set to debut at Piet’s store in São Paulo on November 7, with a subsequent release at Hypefest in Hong Kong on November 9. The global launch is scheduled for November 13.
