- New gameplay clips showing walkthroughs for different stages
- Hide pineapples sneakily in the car or in your bully’s bedroom
- Based on an allegedly true Reddit story
As someone who’s been through the trials and tribulations of school bullying, I can’t help but feel a strange sense of satisfaction at the prospect of Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge. This game is not just a puzzler, it’s a testament to the power of creativity and resilience in the face of adversity.
If you’re fed up with enduring bullying and yearn for action, let me guide you to a tantalizing tropical fruit – the Pineapple! Although it might seem strange, this advice is rooted in an apparently true account. Now, this story has been reimagined into a game by Patrones & Escondites titled “Pineapple: A Bitter-Sweet Revenge”.
Previously, we delved into Pineapple: A Bitter-Sweet Vengeance in April upon its initial announcement following its debut at GDC 2024. This game is both a puzzle and a narrative-driven title revolving around vengeance, where you orchestrate pranks on the school’s most notorious tormentor, ultimately earning hero status among your peers.
It seems this game is inspired by a potentially true (although not definitively verified) Reddit tale about an unidentified user who retaliated against his tormentor by placing pineapples in various inconvenient locations as a form of harassment. The objective of the game is for you to replicate this strategy, thoughtfully placing the fruit in surprising and intimate spots to instill dread in your own bully.
There are numerous unconventional locations where this task could be accomplished, including their vehicle and even their private bedroom. If you’re up for it, you might also arrange a surprise date for them. Ponder the sensation of finding out that your date is a pesky pineapple instead!

Recently, the developers unveiled the trailer announcing the release date for their game. Since then, a sequence of instructional videos has been published, guiding players on how to seek retribution. Just a heads-up: these videos serve as walkthroughs for different levels, so if you’d rather not receive any tips, I suggest you steer clear of them.
On September 26th, I’m thrilled to share that “Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge” will be available on iOS, Android, and PC platforms! If you own a Nintendo Switch, fear not – a version for that platform is coming this fall. For more details, don’t hesitate to visit the Steam page. I can hardly wait!
