As a long-time fan of both Pink and Dallas Green, I am absolutely thrilled to hear that they will be reuniting as you + me at Rock4EB! The thought of seeing them perform together again after more than a decade is just too exciting! Pink’s electrifying energy and Green’s soulful music are the perfect combination that never fails to move me.
Superstar Pink and singer-songwriter Dallas Green will reunite as you + me at Rock4EB!
The duo have agreed to star in the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation’s yearly charity event, where they plan to perform under their old band name. The venue for this glamorous event, usually filled with celebrities and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is a private home in Malibu on September 21st. For the second time, Judd Apatow will be our host for the evening, while Jim Jeffries will provide some laughter through his stand-up routine. Billy Harris will conduct the live auction.
Our recent outing brought Pink back in touch with Green, who last joined forces to create a band over a decade ago. They collaborated on the album titled “Rose Ave.” which was released on October 14, 2014, and they have made numerous live appearances together since then. It’s Green who is renowned for his acclaimed solo career as City and Colour in the indie scene.
Pink and Green are set to team up with an impressive lineup of Rock4EB! performers and attendees, which already boasts stars like Brad Pitt, Adam Sandler, Eddie Vedder, Sting, Chris Cornell, Brandi Carlile, Judd Apatow, and Kevin Nealon. Notable figures such as Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Courteney Cox, Elizabeth Olsen, Kaley Cuoco, Rami Malek, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, Leslie Mann, Maude Apatow, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, Kaia Gerber, Bill Maher, Kim Basinger, and many more have graced the event in past years. Anticipation is high for another wave of star-studded support.
The EBMRF is positioned as the sole nonprofit organization that funds research for the unusual and life-threatening condition called epidermolysis bullosa (EB). This genetic disorder impacts the skin, causing it to tear, blister, or shed, leading to intense pain, disfigurement, and wounds that often fail to heal. Andrea Pett-Joseph from Brillstein Entertainment Partners coordinates the event with her husband Paul and their son Brandon, who personally experiences this condition.
2019 found Cox expressing her appreciation for the advancements made, yet emphasizing there’s still a lot left to accomplish. She shared this sentiment with The Hollywood Reporter regarding her consistent support for the cause and the Josephs. “There are merely 500,000 instances globally,” she said, “so it’s crucial that we spread awareness. It can be challenging to maintain focus if you don’t personally know someone affected, but meeting or knowing one of these children will make this issue unforgettable.”

Just wrapping up an electrifying performance onstage at Chicago’s United Center with my daughter Willow for “What About Us” at the DNC. Right now, I’m in high gear for my Summer Carnival Tour and can’t wait to transition to the Rock4EB! after a completely sold-out show at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. As a gamer, I’m always aiming for that perfect transition from one level to another, and this tour is no exception!
According to intel online, it’s been arranged for you and I to perform at One805Live! the night prior to Rock4EB, which is on September 20th. This event is a concert aimed at supporting Santa Barbara’s first responders, and it’s being hosted by Kevin Costner. The lineup includes Kenny Loggins, Alan Parsons, Al Stewart, Jordan Asher Huffman, Plastic Harpoons, and the Santa Barbara Symphony, among others.
