This past week, I was utterly thrilled as I watched the much-anticipated debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in “Nadaaniyan.” Though it’s a rom-com, opinions on social media have been quite divided. Yet, the recent comment from Hrithik Roshan’s mom, Pinkie Roshan, expressing agreement with a negative review of the film has sent shockwaves across the internet!
In a post featuring several slides reviewing the film “Nadaaniyan” starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, Freddy Birdy began by expressing that there were two factors preventing him from writing a review: firstly, he is not in his twenties, and secondly, he possesses a functioning brain. Once he had acknowledged these points, he admitted to enjoying the film’s return to the genre of lighthearted, mindless romantic comedies, with an emphasis on the ‘mindless’ aspect.
The content creator noted that although these characters live in Noida and are blessed with Dia Mirza as their mother, they are content despite their poverty. He also highlighted that Suniel Shetty’s character wore a black suit throughout the movie and interestingly expressed a desire for male heirs. Additionally, the social media user poked fun by suggesting that the film portrays a doctor as being impoverished.
Nadaaniyan’s charm lies in its unique ability to steer clear of anything even slightly original… I found myself drawn to Ibrahim Ali Khan as it offers a double treat – the visual allure of Saif Ali Khan and the vocal talent of Sanjay Dutt… Lastly, my hat goes off to Netflix.
