Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage is coming to mobile later this year

  • Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage takes you back to the high seas
  • Don new characters and classes, take on powerful enemies and build your deck
  • Enhanced turn-based combat and a new card evolution tree are all arriving Q3

Among the highly anticipated games I reviewed last year, one that truly piqued my interest was Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage. The original Pirates Outlaws, a captivating blend of roguelike deckbuilding and swashbuckling action, emerged when the genre was still in its infancy. Excitingly, the sequel is expected to drop in Q3 this year!

As a thrilled admirer, I’m eagerly anticipating this sequel that whisks me back to the enchanting realm of New Elysia. Prepare for another exhilarating adventure unfolding across the vast ocean expanse. Choose your character, hone your skills with their unique abilities, and craft your starting deck. The journey begins!

As I dive into Pirates Outlaws 2, I’m blown away by the variety! I can choose from numerous characters, each with seven distinct class options. I get to customize my very own ship’s deck and even bring on board a loyal animal companion, adding another layer of strategy to every sea battle. With improved turn-based combat, a fresh card evolution system, and tons more features, it seems like the ocean is mine for the taking!

Run out the guns

The sequel to Pirates Outlaws 2 is guaranteed to deliver a more extensive adventure, allowing you to sail freely across the map and offering a wider variety of card combinations and characters. For those fortunate enough who own PCs, a Steam demo will soon be available, giving you your first taste of Pirates Outlaws 2!

My main worry revolves around the animations depicted in the launch trailer, as they appear somewhat static to me. While it may be challenging to animate these illustrations thoroughly, I’m optimistic that the finished product will include additional dynamic elements and visual effects once it becomes available on mobile devices later this year.

Regardless of your current situation, if you’re aiming to remain at the forefront, why not also stay one step ahead with “Ahead of the Game”? Kick things off by exploring our weekly feature that shares the same title!
