Pokémon Go is bringing back the Bug Out event with Sizzlipede’s debut this time

  • Bug Out will run from March 26th to 30th
  • Sizzlipede will appear in one-star raids
  • Several other Pokémon to catch

The “Bug Out” feature is coming back to Pokémon Go, bringing an influx of Bug-type Pokémons along with the first appearance of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. This event will take place from March 26th to 30th and offers numerous opportunities for wild encounters, raids, rewards, and novel challenges to keep you engaged.

During the “Bug Out” event in Pokémon Go, Lure Modules will be crucial. Not only do they lure Sizzlipede, but they also increase the quantity of Pokémon that show up at a PokéStop when enough are caught using just one Lure Module.

In addition to that, you’ll gain double the Experience Points (XP) and additional Candy for well-thrown balls, with an enhanced chance of getting Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. For those who are Shiny Pokémon hunters, your chances of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede will be improved.

In their natural habitat, you’ll often see a multitude of Bug-type Pokémon such as Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. On occasion, you might also stumble upon the rare and beautiful Cutiefly.

In the meantime, Sizzlipede is showing up in one-star battles alongside Scyther and Nincada, whereas Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor dominate three-star battles. Finishing tasks related to the event within Field Research will grant you Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokemon.

Additionally, there is a complimentary Time-limited Research mission offering interactions with Pokémon like Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and others, together with a Lure Module. For those seeking additional perks, a Paid Time-limited Research option (priced at $2 or equivalent) provides encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, as well as two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module.

I’ve tried to make it more conversational while maintaining the original meaning.

In summary, you’ll find fresh Collection Challenges offering Stardust, experience points (XP), and increased Pokemon encounters. Meanwhile, Pokestops will spotlight event-themed Pokemon. Remember to snag the newly available Sizzlipede Boots and a Scolipede Jacket from the in-game store.
