Pokémon Go Tour: Unova unveils new details ahead of the event

The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is just around the corner, and it’s packed with exciting updates for your enjoyment! From fresh tunes and customizable avatar accessories to special research tasks exclusive to this event, there’s a world of adventure waiting for you as you traverse Unova’s unique Pokémon and battles.

During the Unova Tour for Pokémon Go, there will be a first-time presentation of music inspired by the games Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2. This music is the creation of Junichi Masuda and will be played as you navigate the map, engage in battles, and capture Pokémon within the game.

At the gathering, you’ll face a crucial decision: choosing between Reshiram in the Black Version or Zekrom in the White Version. A fresh Special Research tale called “It’s Not Over Yet” offers this choice, presenting two event badges. The badge you select will influence the perks and benefits you get afterwards.

In all encounters with Kyurem following the defeat of either Black Kyurem or White Kyurem during five-star raids, these Kyurems will be equipped with the Charged Attack Glaciate. For those participating in real-life events in New Taipei City or Los Angeles, there’s no need to select a badge as every encounter with Kyurem will come preloaded with this attack automatically.

Additionally, there are fresh avatar goodies up for grabs! You’ll receive the Go Tour 2025 T-shirt as the inaugural reward from the free Tour Pass, and by upgrading to the Tour Pass Deluxe, you’ll gain entry to the Kyurem Helmet. The Black Kyurem Wings and White Kyurem Backpack will be sold in the store, along with the Shiny Meloetta T-shirt, which is one of the latest Masterwork Research additions.
