Over the past couple of weeks, Pokémon Go has been brimming with exciting news. The upcoming Road Trip, the June content release, and the Delightful Days Battle League have all been announced, but it appears there’s even more to come! We can now share details about the anticipated Community Day on June 21st, 2025!
To begin with, the star Pokémon for the June Community Day will be none other than Jangmo-o, who will appear more frequently during this period, and there may even be a Shiny version of it. If you have evolved your Jangmo-o into Hakamo-o and then into Kommo-o between the start of the event and June 28th, it will already know the charged attack Clanging Scales upon evolution.
Of course, there will also be Community Day Special Tasks and Limited-Time Background Research for dedicated trainers. You can purchase the special tasks for approximately $1.99 (or the equivalent in your region), where you’ll find missions focusing on the enhanced presence of Jangmo-o.

As a gamer, I’d say: If you’re not diving into the Special Research, don’t worry! You can still get in on the action with Field Research instead! Catching Jangmo-o will net you Stardust and Great Balls, along with more encounters with the spotlighted Pokémon. Some of these encounters might even feature the new Delightful Days-themed backdrops!
