Pokemon Go’s first Community Day of 2025 will feature Sprigaito

As a seasoned Pokémon Go trainer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the January 2025 Community Day event has me more than excited! Sprigaito, the Grass Cat Pokémon, is finally getting its time to shine and I can’t wait to fill my Pokedex.

Save the date for the initial Community Day event in Pokémon Go next year! The exciting event is scheduled for January 2025, specifically on the 5th. That’s when Sprigatito, the adorable Grass Cat Pokémon, will have its moment in the spotlight. From 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time, you’ll find more Sprigatitos than usual, along with a host of other rewards to collect!

At the Sprigaito Community Day event in Pokémon Go, you have a fantastic opportunity to accumulate various Pokémons. If you transform this Pokémon into Floragato and later into Meowscarada during the event, or within five hours afterwards, it will learn the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant. Additionally, it will acquire the Charged Attack Flower Trick permanently, becoming an excellent asset to your team.

During Community Day, your Pokemon catching experience becomes even more lucrative! You’ll receive triple Stardust and double Candy for each captured Pokemon. Trainers at level 31 or above will have twice the chance of getting Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense activated during this event will last a full three hours, and you’ll benefit from reduced Stardust costs for trades (at half price) along with an additional Special Trade opportunity too!

If you’re up for something more advanced, a Special Research mission with a fee of $2 can be found, providing unique perks such as a Premium Battle Pass, larger quantities of Rare Candy XL, and increased Sprigatito encounters. Additionally, a complimentary Time-limited Research assignment will be provided post-Community Day, enabling you to continue the excitement for a week by completing tasks and earning a Sprigatito with a Dual Destiny motif as its background.

Don’t forget to explore the in-game marketplace for Community Day deals, featuring items such as Super Incubators, Elite Charged Technical Machines, and Lucky Eggs.
