- Mega Rayquaza pops back in
- Team GO Rocket takes over Adventure Week
- Obtain Meteorites from events
As a dedicated Pokemon GO trainer with years of experience under my belt, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the latest updates and events hitting our beloved game! Mega Rayquaza is back, and this time it’s here to stay for all those Trainers who missed out during its initial raid. The chance to Mega Evolve Rayquaza with the exclusive move Dragon Ascent is an opportunity I won’t let pass me by – especially since I need to complete that Pokedex entry!
As a dedicated Pokemon GO gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Mega Rayquaza is making a triumphant return on August 3rd with three special raid events! Get ready to catch this powerful Dragon and Flying-type Pokemon at Raid Hours happening at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. local time. If you, like me, had been eagerly anticipating hatching Mega Rayquaza during the last raid but faced challenges, this should more than make up for it!
Starting August 2nd at 5:00 p.m. until August 3rd at 8:00 p.m. (PDT), the maximum number of Remote Raid Passes you can use in a day for Pokemon GO has been boosted to 20.
1. To mega evolve Rayquaza, you’ll have to teach it the Charged Attack Dragon Ascent, which can be obtained through Meteorites. Luckily, participating in the Free Timed Research event will give you a Meteorite as a reward once you finish the research.
During Adventure Week from August 8th to August 12th, Team GO Rocket is gaining more attention. shadow Lugia will appear in Shadow Raids from August 10th to August 11th. If fortune favors you, you could encounter a Shiny version of this Pokémon.
Team GO Rocket’s presence at PokéStops will increase during the event, and you can purchase the Team GO Rocket Bundle from the Pokémon GO Web Store for $9.99. Find more details in our official blog post.
