Porsche has partnered with Austrian company Frauscher to debut the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom, an elegant electric watercraft that offers both speed and opulence. This partnership is an extension of their earlier project, the 850 Fantom Air, introducing a design featuring a covered deck and cabin.
The 850 Fantom is equipped with an electric powertrain derived from the Porsche Macan Turbo, which houses a potent rear-axle motor producing 536 horsepower. This setup provides exceptional performance capabilities. Reaching a top speed of 56 mph, this watercraft offers driving options such as Docking, Range, Sport, and Sport Plus. It boasts an estimated range of around 62 miles when cruising at 25 mph, and it is compatible with both DC fast charging (up to 270 kW) and AC charging (up to 11 kW).
This boat is 28.4 feet in length and boasts a width of 8.2 feet. It comfortably accommodates seven passengers. Notable features include a swimming platform at the rear, a sunbathing lounge area, and an interior cabin designed by Studio F.A. Porsche. The inaugural model showcases Oakgreen Metallic Neo exterior paint and Truffle Brown upholstery with striking orange accents. Customers have the option to tailor details such as upholstery, hull colors, and more. Standard amenities include a retractable sunshade, LED illumination, a premium audio system equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities.
The cost of the exclusive Porsche x Frauscher 850 Fantom, available in only 25 units, begins around $625,000 USD, as it prepares for its worldwide premiere in January 2025.
