Having started her career with a Grand Jury Prize win at Sundance for her debut film “Happy, Happy,” Sewitsky has consistently pushed boundaries with her thought-provoking and critically acclaimed films such as “Homesick” and “Sonja: The White Swan.”
Anne Sewitsky is a successful Norwegian American filmmaker residing in Norway. Her debut film “Happy, Happy” earned the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance in 2011 and represented Norway for the Academy Awards that year. Following this achievement, her films “Homesick” and “Sonja: The White Swan” also premiered in Sundance’s main competition in 2016 and 2019 respectively.
