On Monday, a tragic accident occurred in Scottsdale, Arizona involving two private planes, one of which belonged to Mötley Crüe’s lead singer Vince Neil. Regrettably, one individual lost their life, while multiple other people sustained injuries in this unfortunate event.
Neil wasn’t on the flight, however, his partner Rain Andreani was one of the multiple people hurt and transported to a nearby medical facility.
Or, more casually:
Neil missed the flight, but his girlfriend, Rain Andreani, got injured and had to go to a hospital.
On Monday, an announcement about an incident involving a Learjet 35A aircraft owned by Vince Neil was shared on the Mötley Crüe X account. The post stated that at around 2:39 p.m. local time, while attempting to land at Scottsdale Airport, the plane unpredictably swerved off the runway and crashed into another parked plane. However, the cause of this deviation is currently unknown.
On Neil’s aircraft, there were two pilots and two passengers. However, Neil himself wasn’t on the plane. After the accident, Vince’s girlfriend, Rain, was rushed to the hospital. Due to the rapidly developing nature of this incident and an ongoing investigation, further details about the collision are currently unavailable.
Mr. Neil expresses his sympathies and gratitude towards all those affected, and acknowledges the invaluable help provided by the first responders on duty. Sincerely, Worrick Robinson Law, PLLC.
To Associated Press, a representative from Scottsdale Airport stated that the grounded aircraft was a Gulfstream G200 business jet. Furthermore, the spokesperson noted that it seemed as if the Learjet’s landing gear had malfunctioned, causing the accident.
