Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma would hit gym at 4 AM, Akshay Kumar didn't join for drink: Manoj Pahwa details what it takes to be an A-lister

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in the industry, I must say that Manoj Pahwa’s insights into the lives of Bollywood A-listers are nothing short of enlightening. Working alongside some of the biggest names in the business has undoubtedly given him a unique perspective on what it takes to make it to the top and stay there.

To reach the highest point in the world, you have to climb mountains, and to stay there, you must consistently increase your dedication. This is what some top actors in Bollywood are all about, according to Manoj Pahwa during a recent chat on TopMob’s Hindi Rush YouTube channel. The seasoned star shared insights into the tremendous effort these big names put into their work and admitted learning some aspects of it as well.

In a conversation with us, Manoj, who worked alongside Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma on Dil Dhadakne Do, revealed that these actresses maintained rigorous workout routines and stringent diets. “Once the film was completed at 4 or 5 in the morning, we would eat, rest, and sleep, but they would immediately head to the gym for a two-hour workout before catching some shut-eye,” Pahwa shared. “They put in a lot of effort. Working on big films may appear effortless, but it’s not,” he added.

Regarding Akshay Kumar whom he collaborated with on the film “Singh Is Kinng,” Manoj reminisced about an incident from their Australian schedule. He disclosed that the team customarily wrapped up work by 6 pm, only to gather in one of the hotel rooms at 7 pm for a party. “Akshay would participate in our festivities; however, he doesn’t drink,” Pahwa stated. “At precisely 7:45 pm, his trainer would show up and announce that Akshay’s meal was ready. He would dine among us while saying, ‘Your enjoyment is great.’ By 8:30 pm, he would depart to retire by 9 pm,” Pahwa added.

The actor further mentioned that Akshay typically rises at 4 am and spends 2-3 hours working out with his trainer prior to reaching the set. It’s no secret, though, that Akshay (Khiladi Kumar) is recognized for his meticulous discipline and careful scheduling of his day.
