Back on January 23, 2025, I couldn’t help but share my joy when my production venture, Anuja, secured a nomination at the prestigious Oscars of that year. As one of the executive producers for this remarkable film, I was overjoyed to learn that it had been nominated in the Live Action Short Film category.

I’m absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news! Anuja has been nominated for Best Live Action Short Film at the 2025 Oscars! This is just incredible, and I can’t help but express my gratitude to The Academy for this incredible honor. A big round of applause goes out to Adam J. Graves for encapsulating love, family, and resilience so exquisitely in the film. I must admit, I’m left in awe of the immense talent showcased by our actresses, Sajda Pathan and Ananya Shanbhag. Their powerful performances breathe such depth and authenticity into their characters that it leaves me spellbound. Congratulations once again to everyone involved!

In the captions, she expressed gratitude that her company, Purple Pebble Pictures, gets to contribute to this movie’s incredible journey along with our fellow collaborators. “There is no greater source of pride for me than backing the brave storytelling of powerful films such as this one,” she emphasized.
