After attending a couple of brand events, she attended the star-studded screening of her production venture, Paani. She is also here to be part of the 2024 edition of the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival which opened on October 19 with Payal Kapadia’s Cannes winner, All We Imagine as Light. On her Instagram stories, Priyanka Chopra Jonas posted a poster of the award-winning film “All We Imagine as Light.” She acknowledged the effort put in by the team and expressed that this film is an ideal choice to begin the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. On October 18th, Priyanka adorned an outfit for a grand walk on the red carpet at the special screening of her upcoming film, Paani. The occasion was significant as it was a production venture she shared with her mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra, all taking place in Mumbai. A heartwarming video from the premiere captured her tender moments with a little boy. Following the event, she posted glamorous pictures on social media that quickly became popular.
At the showing of the Marathi-language movie “Paani”, Priyanka Chopra was accompanied by several notable figures from Bollywood, such as director Sooraj Barjatya, Mahesh Manjrekar, Anusha Dandekar and her reported partner Bhushan Pradhan, Amruta Khanvilkar, Mannara Chopra, and the cast and team associated with the film.
Led by Adinath Kothare and financed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Madhu Chopra under the production house Purple Pebble Pictures, the movie Paani was awarded the National Film Award for Best Film on Environmental Conservation in 2019. This film features Subodh Bhave, Kishor Kadam, Addinath Kothare, and Rucha Vaidya in significant roles and hit theaters on October 19, 2024. On the acting side, Chopra has two American films, Heads of State and The Bluff, set for release.
