In 2017, I found myself making headlines alongside a companion at the Met Gala, an event that’s no stranger to stirring up gossip. The world was abuzz with speculation about our relationship, but we consistently maintained that we were simply friends. However, as time passed and photos of us spending quality moments together surfaced online, it became increasingly apparent to the public that there was more to our friendship than met the eye. Our affectionate displays on social media further fueled these suspicions.
Over time, one event followed another, and before long, they found themselves introducing each other to their parents. Later, on Chopra’s birthday in July 2018, Nick proposed to her during a trip to Crete, Greece. Shortly after that, they hurried off to India in August, where they formalized their relationship through a traditional roka ceremony with family and friends in Mumbai.
After taking a few holidays, Nickyanka tied the knot on December 1, 2018, and subsequently threw a lavish wedding reception in Delhi. A couple of years down the line, they were blessed with their first child, a daughter named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, in January 2022.
