Puma and Rihanna are expanding their recent Avanti line with a new, limited-edition version called the Avanti LS. This modern take on a classic design streamlines the silhouette and emphasizes its roots in retro football, incorporating additional details. The Avanti LS is a stylish refresh of the 1970 original model.
Refreshingly inspired by models such as the Mostro, Speedcat, and King, the revamped Avanti comes in a vibrant mid-tone blue reminiscent of Rihanna’s FENTY collaboration with LVMH. This fresh color infuses vitality into the design. The leather upper and tongue are clad in this color, creating a striking contrast against PUMA’s iconic Formstrip, which appears in pristine white.
Similar to the previous FENTY x PUMA drop, a distinctive foldover tongue characterizes the shoe’s upper design. Additionally, natural rubber soles and small gum studs on the heel echo the model’s history rooted in sports fields. Instead of the conventional PUMA logo, these shoes showcase the FENTY brand name in metallic gold letters, accompanied by the PUMA emblem.
The FENTY x PUMA Avanti LS, priced at $120 USD, will be available starting January 16. You can purchase it online through the PUMA webstore or at selected physical stores.
