PVRIS is honoring its debut album, White Noise.
This past Friday, PVRIS unveiled a special 10th anniversary edition of their album “White Noise.” This new version includes re-recorded tracks from lead singer Lynn Gunn herself. Currently, the band is on tour performing songs from this commemorative album.
I fondly remember the early days of PVRIS, back in late 2014 when they initially emerged on the scene. The band’s original lineup included me (Gunn), bassist Brian MacDonald, and guitarist Alex Babinsk. Fast forward to 2023, my first solo project was unveiled with their fourth album titled Evergreen.
Some notable tracks from the cherished album, as well as in the band’s discography, are “St. Patrick,” “You and I,” “Fire,” and “My House.” These songs, frequently played as the finale at their concerts, were given a fresh twist with Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox lending her voice to a remix version of them this time around.
10 years ago, I never would’ve imagined that this album we created in a tiny studio would resonate with so many people and still do today. (And honestly, if someone had gotten me a stylist back then, it might have saved me from some embarrassing hair and outfit choices! Haha). It’s mind-blowing to see how much of an impact this album has made over the years. This record has been a game-changer for everyone involved, fostering an incredible community, making incredible connections, friendships, and inspiring so much art, music, and more. To properly celebrate its 10th anniversary, we’re planning a White Noise 10 Year Anniversary Tour!
She continued, “This isn’t just a celebration of the album, this is a celebration of all of you.”

I’ll definitely be gearing up for it since we plan to play the album from start to finish. Many of the tracks are still quite challenging for me vocally,” I explained. “Looking back, in the music and Warped scene at that time, singing high was a kind of swagger, especially for guys. It’s funny now, revisiting White Noise and thinking, ‘Why did I need to hit those high notes?’ If I had sung them in a more comfortable key, they might have sounded even better.
She additionally expressed her aspirations for the band’s future: “I haven’t quite reached where I envision PVRIS being. I’d be thrilled if it continued to expand, but it’s currently in an amazing place that I never anticipated.
Currently, PVRIS is celebrating their anniversary with a tour, while they’re also scheduled to serve as the opening act for Linkin Park during their From Zero World Tour this coming summer.
