It was revealed on Monday that Queen Latifah will be the host of this year’s Kennedy Center Honors, which marks its 47th edition. This news was shared jointly by CBS and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
For the very first time, she’ll be the host of this exclusive show that is set to broadcast at 8:30 PM Eastern Time (ET) and 8 PM Pacific Time (PT) on December 22nd. The television broadcast will take place on CBS, while streaming will be available on Paramount+.
The actor-musician-producer is herself a recipient of a 2023 Kennedy Center Honor, along with being a Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee. She’s currently the star and executive producer of CBS’ The Equalizer.
