However, there’s buzz that Harshvardhan Rane, who made heads turn in 2025, might be joining the series too. Indeed, rumors indicate that Harshvardhan is currently negotiating to play the villain in the movie.

Based on Filmfare’s report, it seems that Harshvardhan Rane, a popular actor in 2025 who’s basking in the success of Sanam Teri Kasam’s re-release, could be part of the action-packed thriller, Race 4.

It’s been hinted that Harshvardhan’s soaring fame, especially following the successful relaunch of Sanam Teri Kasam, has sparked numerous high-profile offers for him. One such offer involves him taking on the role of the villain in Race 4. Although his participation hasn’t been officially announced, there’s a good chance that the negotiations will be successful. If he does join the project, it would significantly strengthen the franchise.

Previously, there had been whispers about Sidharth Malhotra potentially joining the cast, and now it’s official! In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shiraz Ahmed, who has written all the previous Race films, confirmed that production for Race 4 will commence in January 2025.

Ahmed also revealed that they’re almost set with the screenplay and actors. He specifically mentioned Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra as part of the cast. However, he noted that the remaining cast members will be disclosed by the producers at a future time.

In an interesting conversation, Shiraz Ahmed shared insights about the plot of Race 4. He explained that this new film takes us back to the world initially set up in the first two movies of the series. The storyline continues the happenings and introduces familiar characters from the previous films.

Previously in the Race series, directed by Remo D’Souza, there was a star-studded cast consisting of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, and Saqib Saleem.
