The horror-comedy movie titled “Y2K,” previously starred by Kyle Mooney from SNL, will soon be available for streaming. This film, co-written and directed by Mooney, also features Jaeden Martell, Rachel Zegler, Julian Dennison, The Kid Laroi, and Fred Durst. If you didn’t catch it in theaters last year, now’s your chance to watch it on a smaller screen as its release date approaches.
As announced in a recent press release from A24, the movie “Y2K” is set to premiere on Max streaming service on April 4, 2025. Additionally, it will air on HBO (the television network) at 8:00pm ET on April 5. This production was brought to life by Evan Winter, Jonah Hill, Matt Dines, Alison Goodwin, Chris Storer, and Cooper Wehde.
Its official synopsis is as follows:
As the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve in 1999, I found myself and my friend crashing a party. Little did we know that this ordinary night would turn into an extraordinary ordeal in a hilarious comedy about survival in the dial-up era.
