Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa meet Swami Laxmi Narayan Tripathi at Kinnar Akhara during Mahakumbh; activist makes THIS request to actor

Over the past days, the Maha Kumbh has drawn innumerable individuals from all corners of the globe. Notably, renowned figures like Anupam Kher and Lauren Powell have graced the event with their presence to catch a glimpse of the sacred location. Joining this esteemed group, Rajkummar Rao and his spouse Patralekhaa also made a pilgrimage to the Maha Kumbh, submerging themselves in the holy waters at Triveni Sangam. Most recently, they paid a visit to Kinnar Akhara to engage with Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Swami Laxmi Narayan Tripathi (Kinnar Akhara). In this interaction, the activist respectfully asked Rajkummar Rao to contribute more cinematic works that authentically portray the LGBTQ community.

In the upcoming Mahakumbh 2025, actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa made a visit to Kinnar Akhara where they met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Swami Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. Laxmi Ji commended Rajkummar Rao for his exceptional work in Bollywood, particularly for the films he’s produced that focus on LGBTQIA+ narratives. She underscored the importance of producing more such movies to better represent the LGBTQIA+ community, as cinema can influence awareness and foster positive change. Adequate representation is key, and narrative can sculpt a more welcoming world!

Previously, they stopped by Parmarth Niketan and shared some photos of their trip. The initial snapshot shows them having a deep discussion with Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji. Later pictures display them taking part in various rituals and then submerging themselves into the sacred waters. In the final slides, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji can be seen escorting them on a peaceful boat trip.

This group included Hema Malini, Anupam Kher, Bhagyashree, Milind Soman, poet Kumar Vishwas, cricketer Suresh Raina, wrestler Khali, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and Mahamandaleshwar from the Kinnar Akhara.
