In a conversation with News 18, she discussed the demanding physical and emotional toll of working in a confined airplane set surrounded by approximately 100 individuals. This close quarters made her feel both claustrophobic and ill. To add to the difficulty, the air conditioning had to be switched off to prevent noise issues, making the already uncomfortable environment even more unbearable.

Furthermore, Patralekhaa disclosed that she received a severe blow during one of the high-intensity action sequences. This series delves into the harrowing events of the 1994 Indian Airlines Flight 814 hijacking, revealing both sensational and lesser-known aspects of this crisis. The narrative follows India’s longest hijacking ordeal, which spanned a week, as the plane journeyed from Kathmandu to Amritsar, Lahore, Dubai, and finally Kandahar. Negotiations in Kandahar resulted in the release of hostages in exchange for three notorious terrorists.
In this production, Patralekha plays Indrani, a flight attendant, while Vijay Varma takes on the role of Captain Devi Sharan, a courageous pilot.
