As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for holistic well-being, I find Rakul Preet Singh’s recent experiences and insights deeply inspiring. Her journey from the sets of De De Pyaar De 2 to her personal health struggles and back again is a testament to resilience and self-awareness.
Rakul Preet Singh and Ajay Devgn will team up again soon in De De Pyaar De 2 alongside R. Madhavan, a movie that fans are eagerly anticipating. The actress recently disclosed some exciting news about the film’s release. Furthermore, she discussed her ‘biggest blunder’ while pondering on her health following a back injury.
More casually: Lately, Rakul Preet Singh held an interactive Q&A on her Instagram stories where fans bombarded her with questions. In their chat, one fan inquired about the upcoming movie De De Pyaar De 2, the actress’s comedy-entertainer release.
In reaction to this, the actress increased excitement by saying she can hardly contain her eagerness for viewers to experience just how much fun the upcoming movie promises to be. She also hinted that the film will hit theaters next year.
To note, the actress had suffered a back injury during a previous workout session. A thoughtful admirer inquired about her health status, to which she graciously responded that she’s feeling better currently. The actress acknowledged that recovery from a back injury can be lengthy, and for her, it’s all about taking things step by step and seeing improvement day by day.

“I have a lot of rehab happening, but the only thing that I would say is that please do not ever push yourselves to a limit that you overlook your body. I made the biggest mistake of pushing,” she said further adding, “I am in the eighth week of recovery now and when the injury happened I thought I would be fine in one to two weeks but it takes time.”
Rakul underscored the significance of appreciating small, daily abilities our bodies possess, such as easily finding a comfortable position, traveling effortlessly in a vehicle, or experiencing freedom. She shared that she’s currently feeling much improved and promised her fans that she will recover shortly.
Beyond this point, the actress shared her thoughts on the paparazzi lifestyle in Mumbai, suggesting that the level of pressure one feels to appear attractive is largely dependent on the individual. She openly acknowledged that it’s acceptable to step out without being fully dressed, to have greasy hair, and to forgo makeup at times.
Earlier scheduled to be released on May 1, 2025; De De Pyaar De will now release in September 2025.
