In an exclusive interview with TopMob, the actor Ravi Dubey, who will play Laxman in the epic, discussed his relationship with Kapoor and revealed that he considers him more like an older brother.
Ravi Dubey was questioned about his on-screen relationship with Ranbir, as he portrays his brother in Ramayana. He was asked how he worked to convey sibling traits and develop their connection. He was asked to share his experience in this process.
The actor stated, “Ranbir is exceptionally kind; he’s among the kindest individuals I’ve encountered. He has a warm, inviting demeanor. Earlier today, we were talking about humility. It’s fascinating how those who achieve significant fame, often sudden fame, gain admiration and affection. This adoration brings them immense respect for their acting abilities and allows them to express themselves freely—a privilege many actors appreciate.

Dubey stated, “However, Ranbir Bhai stands out. His humility, kindness towards all, calm demeanor, commitment to his profession, and careful planning behind the scenes are simply astonishing. To me, he’s more like an older brother, and I hold him in great esteem and admiration for that reason.
Speaking about his work on Nitesh Tiwari’s movie, Ravi shared that calling it a fantastic experience would be too modest; instead, it held deep significance for him. Despite his words possibly coming across as overused, he sincerely regarded the project as an immense privilege.
To him, joining the tale of Lord Ram wasn’t a choice he made independently, nor an event resulting from foresight or strategic planning.
Ravi strongly expressed his conviction that all events unfold in accordance with Lord Shiva’s divine plan, a belief he has expressed repeatedly. He explained that although situations may seem to be the outcome of individual choices, the ultimate decisions are actually made somewhere else.
Speaking with great appreciation, he expressed how fortunate he felt to work beside renowned filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, leading actor Ranbir Kapoor, and director Namit sir. In conclusion, he couldn’t express enough gratitude for the unparalleled experience.
