The cherished pair in Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, are admired not only for their acting skills but also for their devoted role as parents to their little girl named Raha. Their frequent expressions of affection towards her during interviews show the strong bond they share, which only strengthens fans’ love for them. Lately, this loving couple has asked the media to respect Raha’s privacy by avoiding taking photos of her. They have made it clear that they prefer to handle such situations without resorting to any legal measures.
Recently, Ranbir and Alia held an interactive gathering, chatting freely with the photographers while providing interesting tidbits. In this exchange, the star of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar politely asked the press to refrain from taking pictures of their child, Raha.
He expressed, “I’ve grown big in Mumbai. I was born into the industry. You all are like family to me. There’s no need for us to resort to legal routes. I call out to you and you listen. We don’t give each other the ultimatum of taking things to court, instead we communicate.
In simpler terms, the actor from Love & War explained, “We’re asking for your help because we are striving to ensure our child’s wellbeing. I know it might seem like a luxury concern, but as parents, we’re doing everything we can. Today, anyone with a camera phone can do something and share it widely. Unfortunately, we can’t control that. If you consider yourself part of our family, then you are under our control. We can ask for your help because you can assist us in achieving this.
Alia Bhatt additionally asked photographers and media personnel to honor Raha’s private space by refraining from taking or disseminating her photos without prior permission. She pointed out relevant laws concerning children’s privacy and data security, underscoring that it is illegal to utilize a minor’s images without obtaining consent from their parents.
She made clear that we don’t intend to take action against anyone unnecessarily. However, if someone persistently ignores our repeated attempts, we may find ourselves with no choice but to respond differently.
Alia shared more insights on her biggest concern for Raha’s wellbeing, expressing it as, “What scares me most is the thought of someone barging in and stealing Raha from us.
When a photographer inquired about how to approach spotting Raha at the airport, the leading actress from Alpha advised that photographers should let their daughter move ahead before snapping pictures of them. She additionally suggested that if Raha’s image is taken and posted online, they should conceal her face using an emoji.
