Rashmika Mandanna Reveals How Thama Director Keeps Vampires Happy During Night Shoot!

At present, Rashmika Mandanna is engrossed in the filming of her upcoming movie titled “Thama” alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. This horror-comedy is slated for release this year, and an extensive shoot is ongoing at the moment. Rashmika has been actively sharing behind-the-scenes photos with fans to keep them updated. Lately, she posted a photo from a night shoot and even disclosed that her director is ensuring the satisfaction of the “Thama” (vampires) in the film.

On her Instagram stories, Rashmika Mandanna posted a picture with Thama’s director, Aditya A. Sarpotdar, seated on a plastic chair and supervising the filming through a screen. She captioned it: “My director… Always making me work night shifts… Ice bucket challenge… The story of my life.

Restoring the image, the director wrote, “While humans tremble at darkness, vampires thrive in its strength.” Rashmika responded, “Astute wisdom indeed, knows perfectly well what pleases a creature of the night!

In October 2024, it was officially revealed that Thama had been produced. A video announcement disclosed the title and actors involved, while a powerful soundtrack played in the background.

The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in its main roles, alongside Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, this film is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara. It’s produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik and is set to hit theaters during Diwali 2025.

Additional horror-comedy films in the Maddock Universe that are set to release include “Shakti Shalini,” “Bhediya 2,” “Chamunda,” “Stree 3,” “Maha Munjya,” “Pehla Mahayudh,” and “Doosara Mahayudh.

Alongside Thama, Ayushmann Khurrana is currently involved with a yet-to-be-titled comic spy movie. This project is being produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, and Aakash Kaushik is at the helm as director. Sara Ali Khan has been cast in the main female role for this film.

Currently, Rashmika Mandanna was most recently featured in the movie Chhaava alongside Vicky Kaushal. This film smashed numerous records and remains popular at the box office. Coming up next, she will appear in Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, which is set to hit theaters on March 30, 2025.
